Symptoms

  • Used XFRX#LISTENER engine
  • Some private data session is active before run REPORT command.
  • After the report is processed, it remains private data session with name Unknown with opened table FRX and cursor STYLE.
  • MODI REPORT od same report cause Error:  3 - File is in use.

Cause

Existing objects created by SCATTER NAME [obj] MEMO for each record according to the internal FRX and STYLE cursors.

Workaround

Activate default data session - if it's possible.

SET DATASESSION TO 1
REPORT FORM report OBJECT m.loSession
