Before XFRX 22.6

Symptoms

PDF picture not is transparent in PDF output even if a grapics editor detect transparent layout.

Cause

PNG picture is color type grayscale (0), rgb (2) or palette (3).
PNG picture contains tRNS chunk (Transparency).
