Cause

PDF file contains some subset font data without 'cvt ', 'prep', 'fpgm' tables.

Symptom

Disrupts or resets some printers (HP/Xerox).

Workaround

for existing files..

  • Use another PDF reader ( PDF-XChange, etc.)

  • Print the PDF as an image (https://support.hp.com/id-en/document/c01879546)
